Best Wii U Games Of All Time

Published: Nov 22, 2021

The Wii U was a first-of-its-kind gaming console and offered a variety of first and third-person shooters, racers and even an interactive fitness game. The Wii U was also the first console to use a controller that had a screen that mirrored the TV screen. The controller has a touchscreen, two analog sticks and four buttons. The new controller brought new options to TV gaming because players could use the touchscreen as an alternate view for the TV, which allowed for more people to watch the game without having to crowd around the screen. Below we have listed our favorite 5 Wii U games of all time.

The Nintendo Wii U is a gaming console that was released on November 18, 2012. It is the successor to the Nintendo Wii and comes with additional features such as a better graphics engine and an improved controller. The console has a tablet-like touchscreen controller called the GamePad, which can be used to play games, replace the television screen and allow for off-screen gameplay. The option to take gaming on the go was a nice choice, which eventually became better executed through the Nintendo Switch.

The Wii U was a transitional console that never really stood out in terms of hardware or original games. One downside to the Wii U is that many of the best games are simple ports from the original Wii that Nintendo decided to make with HD graphics. The Wii U did not have very many originals that we found interesting but there were enough for use to make a top 5 list.
