Our Take
What we think about Halo: Infinite
After playing the beta a few months ago, we were a bit disappointed. The gameplay lacked some features from Halo 5 that we grew to love. The graphics were not very “next-gen” and the input did not feel polished. Since that was an early beta, we gave it a pass. We tried the Halo: Infinite Multiplayer again a few weeks ago. The game felt much improved, and those features left out actually seemed OK. It plays like a classic Halo game with better graphics. The campaign is still on our agenda with big expectations for an epic delivery.

Our Take
What we think about Rainbow Six Extraction
The "Rainbow Six" series is a tactical first-person shooter that is well known for its historical setting and realistic gameplay. Rainbow Six: Extraction is a squad-based, tactical shooter that revolves around the fictional Rainbow Six task force. Players choose from one of the six members, each with their own unique abilities, and infiltrate terrorist-controlled locations to neutralize the threat. After Rainbow Six: Siege flopped soon after release, Ubisoft spent years correcting and improving the game. We look forward to seeing if the recent success of the series carries over into the new game.

Our Take
What we think about Battlefield 2042
The Battlefield series has always been known for its large map sizes and many units to play with. Battlefield 2042 keeps this trend alive and introduces new features such as an experimental jump kit and improving the game's accessibility. Players are able to take control of their own custom soldier, with the ability to customize weapons, loadouts, and skills. With an arsenal of weaponry at their disposal, including assault rifles, RPGs, shotguns, snipers, and wire-guided missiles. Players can make use of drivable vehicles on the ground, air, and sea. The biggest disappointment and departure from the rest of the series is the lack of a campaign. That and the multiplayer only features two game modes, leaving us to hope that more options are added with later updates.

Our Take
What we think about CrossfireX
Having not played the original PC Crossfire, we are not sure what to expect from the series. The gameplay trailers definitely have our attention. There are some elements that remind us of the Crysis series, which we definitely loved. There looks to be a good variety of weapons and a fast, in-your-face style of gameplay. The levels look fit to Armageddon, from what we saw.

Our Take
What we think about Destiny 2: The Witch Queen
When we were researching for this list, Destiny 2 was not on our radar. Having been released over 4 years ago, we assumed by now the gameplay was stale and players were just at that late grinding stage in the game. However, it appears the Destiny developers are a step ahead of us. With the new expansion, “The Witch Queen”, Destiny 2 will feel like a new game in the series, rather than an expansion. Although the expansion will be a collection of missions like other expansions, this one will continue a story that began during the Taken King story of Destiny 1. A new enemy is introduced, and players will get to experience Destiny 2 with new settings and weapons to take down the Witch Queen.
