Our Take
What we think about Wii Sports
Wii Sports is an insanely popular game that has sold over 82 million copies around the world. It had a large boost in its figures when it became part of the console bundle for the Nintendo Wii. As one of the launch titles for this console, Wii Sports was perfect to show off what this new motion control system could do and how intuitive it was. The graphics and gameplay were simple, which helped draw in casual gamers. The simplicity and ease of use is why we think Wii Sports is the best Wii game of all time.
Super Mario Galaxy
Description
About Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy is a very popular Wii video game. It is a 3D platformer where Mario is out to save Princess Peach from the clutches of Bowser. The game has many new elements, such as the addition of gravity, so Mario can now jump on the ceiling. There are three different kinds of galaxies: Cosmic, Grand, and Deep Dark. Cosmic Galaxies are the easiest in the game and offer a short path to victory, Grand Galaxies provide a challenging but achievable goal that will test the player's reflexes and skills in order to complete, and Deep Dark Galaxies require quick thinking and strategy to progress through levels.
Our Take
What we think about Super Mario Galaxy
What’s a Nintendo Top 5 list without a Mario game? Mario has always been one of the most iconic figures in the gaming world, and when he made his debut in Super Mario Galaxy in 2007, the game was an instant hit. The game, which is the prequel to Super Mario Galaxy 2, is set in outer space. Mario has to collect stars with his new spaceship to save Princess Peach, who has been kidnapped by Bowser. Along the way, he encounters all sorts of characters like Lumas, purple coins, and rockets. The levels in Super Mario Galaxy are among some of the best ever created by Nintendo, as they are an extremely detailed and immersive experience that is full of exciting challenges from start to finish.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Description
About Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Super Smash Bros Brawl, often abbreviated as SSBB, is a video game developed by Nintendo. It was made for the Wii and is the third installment in the Super Smash Bros. series. It was released in Japan on January 31, 2008 and in North America on March 9, 2008. Super Smash Bros. Brawl featured a more realistic look and feel with enhanced graphics and sounds, a widened variety of controller options, and the inclusion of a story mode known as "The Subspace Emissary" which told a complex, epic tale about the struggle between two worlds.
Our Take
What we think about Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Following the success of the first two games, Super Smash Bros. Brawl was more of a fine-tune in the series rather than an entirely new game. With a lot of the same characters returning, players had a sense of familiarity when jumping into this game for the first time. The levels offered a variety of environments and the smash-your-opponent-off-the-screen mechanics made every fight feel just as exciting as the last.

Mario Party 8
Description
About Mario Party 8
Mario Party 8 is a video game for the Nintendo Wii that allows players to take control of a Mario character and compete against other computer-controlled opponents in a series of board game-style minigames. Some games involve rolling dice and moving pieces on the board to try and reach the goal first while others require you to answer questions, collect coins, or find hidden objects.
Our Take
What we think about Mario Party 8
We have been in love with Mario Party since the original and to see the series continue well into the Nintendo Wii was a truly awesome experience. Mario Party 8 introduced two all-new hosts, had 6 different themed boards, and allowed up to 4 players - human or AI - to compete for the crown. The mini-games in Mario Party 8 were especially fun because some featured motion only gameplay, while others were filled with button mashing mayhem. With the ability to make any party or family night filled with hours of fun, Mario Party 8 deserves a spot in the Top 5.

Ganondorf's goal is to capture Zelda and use her to rule Hyrule.
Our Take
What we think about The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Although it was released five years later than the Wii, and was the second major Zelda story on Nintendo's console, we believe this was the first real Wii Zelda game. The original plan for Twilight Princess was to release it on Nintendo's GameCube system, but due to a series of delays and setbacks, the game became a Wii title. The Wii Remote and Nun Chuck made controlling Link a fun and memorable experience. The downside of Motion controls and a possible contributor to its lack of sales was the Wii Motion Plus requirement. Aside from the Motion Plus barrier, this game has fantastic levels and smooth controls that give it great replay value even to this day.
